About

The House of Materialization is an association of various local initiatives and institutions that research, practice and work on the topics of sustainable management and climate-friendly use of resources. The House of Materialization is part of the model project House of Statistics, which has been developed by the so-called Koop5 not far from Alexanderplatz in Berlin since 2018. The actors in the House of Materialization work self-organized, as freelancers or (partially) funded in various associations and business models. Since summer 2021, the center for climate-friendly use of resources has also been located in the House of Materialization, which was developed as part of the Berlin-wide re-use strategy.

WUNDERPARKING | DOCUMENTARY | SHOT & EDIT

About

Parasite Parking is now Wunder Parking: a start-up that uses parking spaces for shared activities. Soon you will be able to book Wunder Parking on our website for one of the activities we have designed (have a coffee, organize a concert, attend a film screening…). You just have to choose the location and duration and use Wunder Parking alone, with friends or strangers.

We believe that Wunder Parking is a key solution to make cities greener and more vibrant at the same time. Since prices are rising in Berlin, we offer you to satisfy your basic needs (eating, working, meeting friends, sleeping, dancing…) at a reduced price. And last but not least, we offer everyone, tourists and residents alike, the opportunity to have an authentic experience in the alternative city: living in public space. Create your own moment on the streets of Berlin!

This initiative is founded by Jakob Wirth.

The event is part of the DRAUSSENSTADT initiative, funded by the Berlin Urban Practice Project Fund and the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
